Adding Cooling Effect to SolarVenti
 |
 |
|

When the outdoor temperature becomes too high,
you may want to cool down the rooms of your
house.
By adding an extra fan to the SV30
model the SolarVenti will be well suited for
this purpose. The extra fan is placed on the
shady side of the house (opposite to solar noon)
and connected to a thermostat inside the
building.
When the indoor temperature exceeds the maximum
set on the thermostat the extra fan will take
over thus making it possible to shift between
cool and warm air input according to your needs.
The extra fan will supply cool air from the
shady side of the house thus lowering the indoor
temperature.
No maintenance or operating costs are involved
as the extra fan is operated by the solar cell
that comes with your SolarVenti.
